an open letter of thanks for the testimonies of healing in the Sentinel, Journal, and Herald

Dear testifiers:

Another group of you comes to me today
sharing your victories in these pages.

I rejoice with you!
How I, too, treasure the breakthroughs,
the discoveries you've made!

I treasure them as the pure gold they are,
revealing a more excellent way.

I treasure them as the leaven,
working in thought unobtrusively.

I treasure them as the little mustard seeds of faith,
grown into mature trees of shelter for mankind.

I am smiling in gratitude to you, my sister in Africa,
my brother in Uruguay,
my kin in all lands.

For you are my family.

And I am sending this letter today because
I cannot refrain a moment longer from saying

Thank you for loving God so deeply
that during whatever long night
dubious moment
threatening hour,

you trusted Him.

Your healing strengthens mine.
Your healing has lessened evil's claim on our world.
That healing of yours is engraved forever in your experience,
and now in mine, since we are all (wonderfully!) one family in Love's embrace
rejoicing together!
