Finding our true identity
[Original in German]
Life is God, and identity is the individual reflection of divine Life. All identities reflect Life, God, as their source. In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read: "The divine Mind maintains all identities, from a blade of grass to a star, as distinct and eternal." Science and Health, p. 70. Not one identity can be missing. Together all express the completeness of divine Life, the infinite symphony of creation.
The life of the real man is not a biological occurrence in the evolution of a material universe. Matter is unconscious of being and does not exist outside mortal thought. What is called matter is the subjective state of the unreal mortal mind—its concept of material substance, causation, and effect.
Man's being is not something separate from God, existing independently. Rather, man's identity is the reflection of God.
