The talent
Sometimes we hear the story of the hidden talent:
a slothful servant had not used it properly.
What could I learn from this?
Was I like him?
Yes, I had buried a talent in the earth,
the talent of gratitude.
Quickly I dug it up, used it,
and it multiplied.
So it is with all our talents—
our understanding of Christian Science,
our expression of love, joy, peace—
used, they multiply.
