Sabbath light
Not far away or once upon a time
but ever in right-nowness of the truth
clear sabbath light of Christ awakens thought.
Dim shadows of a fallen mortal man,
dream-carried through a thousand sorrows, vanish.
The same day is the sabbath, ever blessed—
man proved sinless, spiritual, and complete,
his dominion obediently expressed.
O sons of God, shout!
Daughters of Spirit, sing!
We are God's joy, His holy work and rest.
