God draws His own

You didn't push, pull, or promise
and it made me wonder what you'd found
so precious that another's approval
was unnecessary.
(Your quiet satisfaction detonated my
inquisitiveness about a meeting where
in one short planetary hour earth's weight
was nonexistent.)

You didn't budge: "A few readings, hymns,
persons sharing good," was all you said,
leaving me to accept or neglect what I knew
was opportunity.
(You knew the Christ is irresistible and brings
thought to the attraction of activity where
God's Word is praised in word and deed
as healing.)
Such a humble designation, "Wednesday evening meeting";

so I came...and life has never been fuller or
clearer or attaining greater purpose. It
was proved
that we make practical
the glorious qualities eternally bequeathed—
outstripping human personality and media hype.
Truth draws its own to the Science of the Christ!
