FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
What is your name?
Even though you might answer to Todd or Tracy, Debbie or Dave, do these names alone identify you? When we think of friends, isn't it usually in terms of what they're like? Maybe you say Jenny's super friendly and nice, and Mark makes everyone laugh. Carrie is pretty and vivacious, and Brian's a brain at algebra, besides being the best athlete in school.
But what about you? What are you like? And what kind of names have you been calling yourself lately? Are they sometimes downbeat names like insecure, unpopular, ugly, dull, worthless? They needn't be.
You have a special name. It is child of God, and you are known to Him as spiritual, perfect, fearless, free.
