Recently, while visiting with my sister in the United States, I suffered great pain in my leg and was unable to get about without the use of a walker. As I was due to leave for my home in England in a few weeks time, I became very fearful. I asked for the prayer of a Christian Science practitioner however, which was very lovingly given; and soon my fears were stilled.
It helped me to realize that in God "[I] live, and move, and have [my] being" (Acts 17:28); therefore, I could not be separated from Him. Also, Hymn No. 139 in the Christian Science Hymnal was of great value. The first verse reads:
