I want to express gratitude for the Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly
I want to express gratitude for the Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly. As I study each subject, I find a new message that brings fresh understanding.
At the end of every year since childhood, I suffered with recurring throat trouble and depression. Traditional celebrations of the Christmas holidays found me ill and unhappy. I seemed to connect past history of sad events to this season. I knew I must break the chain by seeing the season as one of "holy days."
I prayed with great conviction to know that God is present and that His law is operating in every instance. Instead of looking for healing in a physical condition, I knew the problem was a false belief that must be corrected.
