You're perfect!

Man is made in God's likeness, the Bible tells us. What appears to us as mortal man, made of flesh and blood and subject to troubles, sins, and sicknesses, can by no stretch of the imagination be that likeness. God's man is eternal; a mortal is temporal. God's man expresses infinity; a mortal is finite. God's man is perfect; a mortal is imperfect. The two couldn't be more opposite. We need to look away from mortality to find God's man—the only man.

Where should we look? We are living in an age in which the law of God, Christian Science, has been discovered. The Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, teach this law. These two basic texts contain all we need and will lead us to understand ever more clearly the truth of God and His image, man.

A fundamental point is the truth that God is Spirit, a fact undiscernible by the five material senses. It is absolutely beyond the capacity of the physical senses to see, hear, taste, feel, or smell Spirit. Not knowing Spirit, the physical senses cannot know the spiritual man Spirit has made.
