Christian Science blesses me each day. In every instance, there has been an answer to prayer, and God has always met my needs. By relying on Him for guidance and protection, I have found employment in difficult times, remained safe in violent situations, been healed of several severe illnesses, and had two harmonious pregnancies and childbirths. I am also grateful for the opportunity of having served as Second Reader, Sunday School teacher, and soloist in our branch church.

Knowing that God is the true Father-Mother has freed me from fear in raising our children. Being obedient to the law of divine Mind has brought many quick healings.

At one time, my husband and I faced quite a challenge when our young daughter woke in the night with a severe fever and earache. After I had called a Christian Science practitioner for help, we prayed, acknowledging the allness of God and the child's inherent spiritual perfection. Fear had to be completely destroyed. For several days there was no change in the physical condition. But we rejected the false, material concept of man by steadfastly maintaining the truth of our daughter's being—that she was a spiritual idea, perfect, pure, the emanation of divine Love. I was so grateful for the children's articles in the Sentinel and the books for children relating Bible stories, published by The Christian Science Publishing Society. We read them aloud again and again to our daughter, and this comforted and sustained her.
