The loveliness of true identity

Paul poses a pertinent question in his first letter to the Corinthians: "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? " And he declares, "Therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." I Cor. 6:19, 20;

The first chapter of Genesis confirms Paul's words. It clearly states that man is made in God's image and likeness. And, obviously, the image of the One "altogether lovely" must of necessity be altogether lovely.

Christ Jesus came to open our eyes to this man of God's creating. And Christian Science further reveals man as the compound idea of God, Spirit; the representation of infinite Mind. This wholly spiritual view of man corrects the material misconceptions of him and reveals the true image.
