The blessings I've received as a lifelong Christian Scientist have been abundant. Since early childhood, every physical difficulty has been healed through prayer alone, including infantile paralysis and a goiter.

While we were raising our family, Science was invaluable. When faced with a problem, we turned to God and always found a solution. So-called childhood diseases were healed quickly with the help of a Christian Science practitioner.

One healing in particular stands out. The kind of work I did required me to be on my feet constantly and often for long hours of overtime. One day I noticed a great deal of pain in my heels. Thinking that uncomfortable shoes had probably been the cause of this, I neglected to pray specifically about it and gave it no further thought. However, the condition worsened until standing and walking were both extremely painful. I then called a practitioner for help through prayer.
