Love and the abilities of Spirit
Christian Science offers concrete aid to one who has been labeled handicapped.
Though the barriers may appear huge, the love our heavenly Father has for each one is so wide and deep that it sees only perfection and therefore is adequate for the overcoming of all seeming obstacles. When we turn wholeheartedly to God's love, we can discover the full range of capacities as they exist in infinite Spirit. As this truth is brought into focus in thought and life, the one considered "handicapped" can learn to take his place in the world, and can be assured of his worth and usefulness.
How great is God's love? The world has seen some marvelous examples of truly unselfish love. But all the loves that human beings have, as noble as they sometimes are, do not compare with the immensity of God's love for man. God's love is indeed the very substance of being. And God is divine Love itself. This Love is Spirit—the one almighty force, which creates all.
