Prove disease unreal
Studying Christian Science has caused me to give much thought to this question: How can one overcome the claims of sickness, pain, disease—physical inharmony?
A better understanding of the answer came when I had to overcome a severe cold, the first I'd had after many years as a Christian Scientist.
The first day that the aggressive symptoms raged I was intent on seeing that they did not belong to me or to anyone; so I stood my ground mentally in denying power to the disease. But try as vigorously as I could to conquer the symptoms, no progress was made—in fact I grew worse.
