I have been going to the Christian Science Sunday School for over five years, and I am grateful for getting started in this Science that heals.

One day a few years ago my friend Adam and I were outside using our squirt guns to squirt the barbecue grill, where we had just cooked supper. We knocked some hot coals out by mistake, and I stepped on one with my bare foot! It hurt a lot, and I started to cry.

My family and my friend Adam's family were supposed to go to a carnival together that night, and I was afraid I might not be able to go along.
