Sides of the brain or divine Spirit?
In which side of the Apostle Peter's brain did his power to heal the sick and raise the dead originate? The left or the right? A startling question to a Christian, who believes in divine Spirit, the Almighty God!
Among brain researchers, there is earnest investigation and some dispute about the theory that one side of the brain is responsible for intuitive and creative impulses, and the other for logical reason. That theory is firmly based on the premise that brains think—are the origin of inspiration, reason, and feeling—and that man's intelligence resides in and is dependent upon matter, specifically brains and nerves. The source of brain intelligence is supposed to be electricity and magnetism.
But where is divine Spirit in all this? Spirit and matter are opposites. Is Spirit the servant of self-acting matter, or is the Almighty all mighty?
