Since childhood God has been my only physician, and I have had many proofs of His omnipotent, loving care, including healings of so-called childhood diseases, polio, and a broken collarbone, which set and healed perfectly without medical help.

When I made the decision to apply for membership in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, I wanted more than anything to be honest when I stated to the membership committee that I did not use alcohol or tobacco. All desire for alcohol was dispelled as I became more confident in the knowledge that I am God's child and reflection. Without any unpleasant longings related to withdrawal, the smoking habit was healed.

I have learned to wait on Love, and time and time again I have been supplied with all I need. On numerous occasions in my work, I have been protected in riotous or dangerous situations. Not one time was I harmed in the least.
