Interview with a Christian Science practitioner

How does Christian Science heal? What is the "practice" of Christian Science? Can anybody heal? Why do we call a practitioner to pray for us? What is Christian Science treatment? Maybe you've asked yourself some of these questions. Cindy had, and in talking with some of her friends who were Christian Scientists, she found the same questions were on their minds.

One day one of them suggested, "Why not ask a practitioner?" So they went ahead, made an appointment, and did just that.

When the day came to visit the practitioner's office, the girls were looking forward to it. The office was bright and friendly-looking. The group sat around the practitioner's big desk. Although Paula hadn't been very sure she wanted to talk to a practitioner, she found herself asking the first question: "What is scientific prayer?"
