Unfragmented being
Sometimes life may seem like a puzzle with hundreds of pieces. Puzzles are put together more easily when we get a good view of the whole picture. When we pray, our mental view of reality is clarified and we catch glimpses of the true pattern that will solve life's puzzle.
Our days often seem to be spent trying to fit the pieces together in a way that will match what we've glimpsed. Sometimes there are so many pieces we hardly know where to start. While a few begin to fit, others are hard to place or appear to be missing entirely. So life may seem. But a clear recognition of what life really is reveals that we're not mortals struggling to arrange a variety of pieces into a whole.
In reality, man does not need to piece together the truth of his being. He is already the complete expression of Principle. And Principle is the unfragmented basis of reality. God's creation is not the molding together of an infinite number of parts. He is One. His immeasurable creation is an expression of this perfect oneness. "The Lord our God is one Lord," Mark 12:29; Christ Jesus reaffirmed, quoting the Scriptures. The nature of Principle is orderly wholeness. The substance of reality is not splintered into sets of little mortal events, each huddled around an even littler mortal personality.
