A reason for confidence
Today many people's faith in human institutions and government is shaken. This lack of confidence signals the need for a higher faith—a faith in God, based on an understanding of Him and His control of His spiritual creation.
When there's a decline in faith in Deity the effect on society is a gradual erosion of confidence in the superiority of good, in the triumph of right, and in mankind's inherent nobility. The pursuit of justice and freedom falters before a creeping cynicism. Public confidence and an understanding faith in God go together, and without them freedom declines.
