Looking for something new?
Followers of Christ Jesus, if they really put the Master's teaching into practice, will find their moments and their days becoming increasingly varied and interesting. Ideas that are innovative, productive, and satisfying will flood more and more into thought. Boundaries will recede and horizons widen in the expanding recognition and demonstration of man's infinite and eternally developing being as the expression of divine Life.
Jesus told his disciples, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10; His own life was rich in rewarding experience and in new views of God and His universe. He presented to the world the concept of man as God's son, the inheritor of all divine qualities, and he honored God as the plentiful Giver of all good to His creation, man.
Earlier in the Bible, God is metaphorically described as the inexhaustible "fountain of living waters." Jer. 2:13; Now as then, we can know that God, infinite Mind, is invariably sending forth to us all a steady stream of fresh thoughts, impulses, and opportunities, new ideas and views of spiritual reality. And we can prove that the paralysis of routine thinking can never set in to hinder our progress, nor can the sterility of boredom and mental staleness waste away our joy. Inspiration is unceasing. No thief of mortal belief can deprive us of it or cause it to dry up.
