The young man leaned over to his girlfriend after history class and exclaimed, "Wow, I really felt good vibes from Mr. Thomas. Do you know what I mean?"

"Yes, I understand about vibes, but I didn't feel it." (The word "vibes" is slang for "vibrations," which in this case refers to an emotional reaction of one person toward another.)

So here were two different opinions as to the personality of the history teacher, Mr. Thomas. Which was correct?
