I have been a student of Christian Science three years
I have been a student of Christian Science three years. I am a grateful member of The Mother Church in Boston, Massachusetts, and of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Accra, Ghana.
Sometime in April 1977 I bought a book entitled A Child's Life of Mary Baker Eddy by Ella H. Hay. I found the book extremely interesting and inspiring. I was on leave at the time and gave it my first attention. On the day that I finished reading that book I felt deeply convinced that I was ready to heal whoever came my way.
Sitting in my chair, I was impelled by the Christ to go out to the street, for what I did not know. In obedience, I went to the street a few yards away from my hall, whereupon I met a certain small boy, aged between five and six. I felt impelled to speak to him, only to find that he was dumb.
