Work to do
Think not to shirk the work
Of nullifying lies that lurk
In thought as counterfeits
Of true ideas wrought by God.
Done well, this work is fraught
With healing for us one and all.
God's thoughts exterminate
All lies, and mischief wrought by lies;
The murk of error's night—
Fear, lust, disease—dispelled by Truth.
Then lies no longer lurk;
Each quirk of error sent to nothingness!
Think now to fill your thought
With actualities of Mind—
Those true ideas wrought
By God. Be health-filled, fearless, clean
Of heart, unflawed by fleshly
Notion, incapable of fall!
Roy J. Linnig
