We are able

Able to do what? Enjoy abundant good. All of us are. For infinite good is what God has already bestowed upon us as in truth His loved and loving reflections.

The possibilities of what we can do humanly as we realize our true inheritance as God's image are endless. "Moses advanced a nation to the worship of God in Spirit instead of matter, and illustrated the grand human capacities of being bestowed by immortal Mind," Science and Health, p. 200; Mrs. Eddy tells us. When we think of the deeds that numerous spiritually-minded men and women have performed—not only Moses but also the other great people of the Bible and especially Christ Jesus—we feel impelled to strive ever more diligently to express divine Love in all our ways.

This, of course, involves work on our part in putting off a false sense of man as an imperfect, fallen mortal and recognizing man's unfallen status as the pure and perfect creation of God. No one can do our work for us. We must assert our dominion over the clamor of evil in all its forms by denying the reality of evil and affirming the spiritual fact. Whether the difficulty is poor health, lack of supply or companionship, anger, or any other form of inharmony, it is up to us to prove evil's nothingness. And since our power, or ability, is from God, this is glorious work!
