A little over a year ago I was healed of a painful physical condition. It was necessary for me to have the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner daily for many months. The nights when I was most uncomfortable, I read from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and the Christian Science periodicals, and I listened to tapes.

One thought that the practitioner gave me brought about a turning point. She told me to consider God's allness in the light of this statement in Science and Health (p. 520): "Unfathomable Mind is expressed. The depth, breadth, height, might, majesty, and glory of infinite Love fill all space." I was encouraged to understand the tremendous infinitude of God, to feel His allness; for I was truly in God's presence, encompassed by His love, where nothing could touch me, influence me, govern me, or control me but God.

My sister helped me see that God's control is absolute; that there is in reality no action of animal magnetism calling itself fear, material theories, human opinions, or mortal beliefs that can control me mentally or physically, because God controls me, and God is the only Spirit, the only Mind.
