"The Story of Jesus," faithfully retold from the Gospels, is the newest in a series of illustrated books of Bible stories for children. It's published in German, French, and Spanish, as well as English. Like the earlier book/ records ("Joseph and His Brothers," "Noah and the Ark," "Daniel in the Lions' Den," and "The Good Samaritan") the English "Story of Jesus" combines a colorful paperback with a record. The German, French, and Spanish versions come as a book, without the record.

These publications introduce young children to a loving Father-Mother God. They teach the lessons of the Scriptures in a way that makes the faithful, unselfish Bible characters live in a child's heart. This telling of Jesus' life — from his birth and childhood, through his healing and teaching ministry, the crucifixion, and on to his resurrection and ascension — enables children to feel more deeply the greatness of the Master's life, the power of his healing work, the glory of his example of forgiveness, obedience, and love.

You can find countless ways to share "The Story of Jesus" within the family and without. It can be the focus of a family Bible meeting. Or just right for private reading and listening sessions between parent and child.
