Let Love Label you
Miss — Mrs. — Ms.? Married, single, separated, divorced, widowed — often we check the appropriate box on a form and thereby label ourselves.
While it may be useful to follow established procedures in identifying ourselves humanly, it is more important that we affirm continuously our true identity as divine Love's complete spiritual idea.
We learn in Christian Science the difference between our true identity, made in the image of God, entirely spiritual, and the illusion of a human being made of matter. If we accept the label of materiality and what this label implies, we immediately subject ourselves to the kinds of conditions inherent in materiality : sickness, poverty, depression; we accept the suggestion that we are solitary mortal persons forced to work alone to overcome various barriers.
