A Policy Without Risk

Great happiness and hope come to us with the realization that an infinite spiritual law of divine Love governs the universe harmoniously and that this law is a practical presence in the lives of men.

Christ Jesus gave us proof that the power of this law is equal to every demand made upon it. Christian Science, given to the world by Mrs. Eddy, was the discovery that this divine law of God is effective today as practical Science.

Students of the Science of Christianity rightly look for present enjoyment of this vista of happiness. Christ Jesus promised it to his followers; but in saying, "My peace I give unto you," he added, "not as the world giveth, give I unto you." John 14:27; In fact, the world invites us to accept a modus vivendi that would defer this promise.
