You Are Valuable
In true being, every individual is valuable and worthy. And we can prove this. We can be good. We can help one another. We can express pure affection. We can live in complete reliance on God.
Do we value each other ceaselessly, without exception? If we did, we would learn something of true harmony, heaven. We can begin now. We can let faithfulness to God and man unfold in our lives like a lovely flower. We can learn the touch of kindness. If we value and appreciate some of our fellowmen, we have begun to see that the whole family of man is valuable.
In the exposition of Christ Jesus' life as given in the Bible, we see how deeply Jesus valued humanity. He spoke to Nicodemus of spiritual birth and eternal life. He healed disease and sin. He raised Lazarus from death. He valued everyone, and helped his disciples see themselves and others as God's children. He gave them and us a special commandment: "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." John 15:12;
