When I was a young married woman I suffered almost continually from headaches accompanied by depression. My father and brother were both doctors. I had tried everything medically to heal this problem, but to no avail. I then approached a Christian Scientist and asked her to lend me a book on Christian Science. She lent me Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which I sat and read, scarcely pausing to eat or sleep. It was indeed the truth I had been seeking, and I remember saying to my mother that I was sure I would get my healing from this book, and so it proved. I was permanently freed of headaches through the reading of Science and Health.

In the almost forty years that have passed since then I have been very grateful for the dedicated help given to me and my two daughters by Christian Science practitioners. There have been healings of so-called children's diseases, often within a few hours.

A few years ago I suffered from stomach pains and nausea. A practitioner helped me to overcome the fear which was evidently behind this. When I saw I was not material but a complete, spiritual idea of God, I was healed.
