Our Great and Wonderful God!
Tribes usually look to their chief for guidance, trusting in his wisdom and judgment. Likewise in pledging our full allegiance to God we should expect to receive His infinite blessings as we obey the wisdom of divine law. The Bible says of God, "Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity." Hab. 1:13; So, all that God creates is good, and He governs all in perfect harmony. God's mandate for man is wholly good, and His rule is simple: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Ex. 20:3;
Yes, God requires our entire heart. God is the one and only infinite Spirit, the active source of all creation and life. Nothing else can rightly be worshiped, because what God makes is never a god, but an expression of God.
Though we love our ancestors and deeply respect all the good they have accomplished, we do not worship them.
