No Separation in Good

God is indivisible, the divine Principle of all that really exists. The spiritual reflection, or manifestation, of God, infinite good, is His creation, including individual man. In the oneness and allness of God there is no division or discord. All spiritual identities dwell together in one perfect concord.

What appears to separate or divide mankind is the commonly accepted belief that there are many minds. It is natural therefore for human beings to attempt to heal separations or divisions by seeking to bring together opposing factions in what is thought of as "a meeting of minds." Good efforts expended in this direction often have their reward, but as long as the belief in many minds remains, the danger of discord and separation is imminent. Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health: "It should be thoroughly understood that all men have one Mind, one God and Father, one Life, Truth, and Love. Mankind will become perfect in proportion as this fact becomes apparent, war will cease and the true brotherhood of man will be established." Science and Health, p. 467;

If one seeking to establish unity and peace in family relations, in business or church activities, or in world affairs, is willing to yield a false, personal sense of himself and others to the understanding that God, good, is the only Mind and governs all, he will find his experience increasingly freed from the frictions and misunderstandings personal sense imposes.
