I should like to express gratitude for the many blessings I have had through the study of Christian Science. When I have conscientiously and properly applied Christian Science, healings have taken place.

Through inharmony and friction my husband and I separated when I was a young woman. I felt I could drown my sorrows through drinking but soon saw this was not the right way to find true happiness. In my cry for help I turned to the Bible. Shortly afterward I met a man who told me about Christian Science. He explained how in time of sickness and trouble he relied wholly on God for healing. He said God never made sickness or discord of any kind, therefore it is not real; by denying error and affirming God's allness he was able to help himself. I was very much impressed to know that there is such a wonderful religion.

I purchased a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and with the Bible and the Christian Science Quarterly, I began to study earnestly the weekly Lesson-Sermon.
