I am deeply grateful for a marvelous healing that I had in Christian Science.
Some years ago, when I was suffering from abdominal pains, I went to a specialist for a medical examination. The diagnosis was that I should be operated on within a few weeks if possible, because I had a growth which had to be removed. There was also hemorrhage. My children were very fearful, as the appearance was of a serious malady.
Then I learned of Christian Science! I asked a Christian Science practitioner to treat me through prayer, which he did with much kindness and understanding of God's law. He explained to me that man is God's spiritual idea and as such does not contain a single inharmonious element. Mrs. Eddy writes in the textbook, Science and Health (p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." The practitioner continued to support me through prayer.
