Love's Up-Down-All-around

How happy my friend Toni and I were to run around in the cool green grass. It felt so good. My dad was out on our garden tractor rolling the bumps out of the ground with a big steel roller that was pulled behind the tractor. Toni and I were running behind the roller and kicking it, when suddenly my foot got caught on the roller and it flipped me head over heels between the roller and the tractor.

Before Dad could stop the tractor, the roller had rolled completely over me faceup. At first I was frightened and started crying. Dad came running and picked me up. He carried me to the porch. My mother heard me crying and came out to see what was wrong. She took me in her lap and together we talked about God.

I had been going to the Christian Science Sunday School since I was two years old and had learned that God is Love, and is always with us and helps us when we need Him. I knew He would help me now.
