I never realized what Christian Science meant to me until, marrying, I moved away from home. We learn from experience to turn from the senses to Soul, God, to realize our true selfhood.
In the book of Genesis (1:27) it states, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." I have realized that man is the pure image of God. He is a spiritual idea; therefore he can only express purity.
I wish to share a healing of my husband's after he was in a serious fire. He was working on a car where he is employed, when a little gasoline in a can spilled and blew up in his face. His arms, hands, head, and chest, and right side of his face were seriously burned. I was called to the hospital, as he was in the emergency ward and in a great deal of pain. The doctor was concerned because my husband refused medical treatment, saying he was a Christian Scientist.
