To Command the Situation
Whatever challenging situation we face, we can take command of it only if we understand what is true. If we believe something in the situation to be true when it is not, we are confused, and our decisions will not be sound.
So we are faced with a routine that is boring, with people who are difficult, with crime, rising living costs, a disintegrating moral climate, uncertainty, frustration, disease, and so on. What is true? What is not true?
It's easy to say the good is true; the evil is false. But do we know this, and do we know why? Do we understand? Well, we have been given the truth that enables us to understand. The real question is, Do we really want the message?
