"Stand up and bless the Lord your God...

"Stand up and bless the Lord your God for ever and ever" (Neh. 9:5). There are many reasons for me to stand up and bless the Lord. I think chief among these is the privilege of having attended a Christian Science Sunday School for ten years. Through the study and application of Christian Science I have lived a happy, healthy, and harmonious life.

This testimony is given in the hope that it will give comfort and courage to someone whose healing seems to be delayed. For many years I suffered from high blood pressure. This did not bother me very often, but each year when I went for the medical checkup required by law for those in the teaching profession, I was told that my blood pressure was very high, and dire results were predicted if I did not submit to medication.
