HEARKEN
Forgive me, Father.
So often
when I pray "Thy will be done,"
I offer,
simultaneously with my prayer,
some meager, human outline,
as though seeking Your approval and Your blessing on
my plan.
Help me, Father,
so always
when I pray "Thy will be done,"
I offer,
simultaneously with my prayer,
this petition: "Let me recognize Your answer."
Then, listening, with gratitude and joy,
hasten to fulfill
Your plan.
