No Time of Life
A persistent suggestion heard in human thought is that recovery from this or that diseased condition cannot be expected because of a person's advanced years, or time of life.
We can utterly reject this suggestion, whether it comes to us about ourselves, a member of our family, someone who has turned to us for help in Christian Science, or anyone else. There really is no such thing as a time of life. It's a lie.
In Science and Health Mrs. Eddy silences this lie. She writes: 'Life is without beginning and without end. Eternity, not time, expresses the thought of Life, and time is no part of eternity." Science and Health, p.468; She also says, "Organization and time have nothing to do with Life." ibid., p.249; At this season of the year when there is a great closing of books and opening of new ones, we do well to close our book forever on the suggestion that there is something called time of life able to prevent full recovery from disease.
