It is with deep gratitude and reverence that I write this testimony, not to the unknown God, but to the very God, indubitable and omniscient Mind, divine Love, whom we represent. We are His spiritual offspring, His heirs.

I first heard of Christian Science in 1908 in a private home where meetings were held by a group of students of this teaching. I must have caught a glimpse of the truth, but I did not accept this invitation to know God until Science was presented to me again on the North-West Frontier of India—again in a private home of friends. The Christly message in Revelation reads (3:20), "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock," I needed God so much, or shall I say that it was God who held onto His child, and through the years He has never let me go. "I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee" (Josh.1:5), we read in the Bible.

I studied the book Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. How inspired of God she was to express to mankind the truths contained in this book, which she has presented to the world. I have had many healings in my family and for myself by holding steadfastly to the spiritual facts of God and His idea, and refusing to accept as real whatever is unlike God, good.
