My gratitude for Christian Science knows no bounds. While studying the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and regularly attending the services of a branch church, I have proved many times that divine Love is always ready to meet the human need.

For some years I suffered with an illness that appeared to be of a serious nature, although the symptoms were not medically diagnosed. One day I read the following truth in the textbook (p 463): "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." The error was obstinate. It was fear causing the sickness. I then went to a Christian Science practitioner and requested treatment through prayer. The better understanding of God as divine Love that I gained brought me my complete freedom three years later. During the period when I received Science treatment, I was also healed of chronic constipation, which I had had since my youth. Also I was healed at this time of colic of the gallbladder and kidneys. It was a complete healing.

I recognized that God is Life and that I am in reality the image and likeness of God. "For in him we live, and move, and have our being," as it says in the Bible (Acts 17:28).
