Looking back on my life to see evidence of spiritual progress, I recall three healings that were most outstanding.

My first healing in Christian Science was over twenty years ago when our son was a baby. I was healed of a nervous breakdown by reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I did not know about Christian Science practitioners. I wrote in detail of this healing and expressed my gratitude for Christian Science in my first and only published testimony in a Sentinel, in 1956.

My second healing was of what seemed to be appendicitis. Someone had described it to me. In two days I had the same symptoms. I managed to reach the telephone to call a Christian Science practitioner, and also to call my husband home from work in the middle of the day. I asked him to please read to me from Science and Health.
