We're All Special

Do you think others are better than you? Do they seem more talented, more intelligent, or more prosperous? As God's expression each of us has an abundance of good, love, talents, intelligence. God's reflection, man, is complete. Mrs. Eddy tells us: "The substance, Life, intelligence, Truth, and Love, which constitute Deity, are reflected by His creation." Science and Health, p. 516;

If you see yourself or another as having no special talents, as being ordinary, as lacking in intelligence or in accomplishments, you need to take a better look. As we keep these good qualities more in thought we will bring them out in our daily experience. To continually focus on faults or limitations is not productive of good. "We must form perfect models in thought and look at them continually," Mrs. Eddy writes, "or we shall never carve them out in grand and noble lives." Science and Health, p. 248;
