It is with joy and heartfelt gratitude that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science.

When I was two years old I was stricken with spinal meningitis. After the physicians told my parents there was no hope for my recovery, a neighbor urged them to try Christian Science. They contacted a Christian Science practitioner and asked for treatment for me. In a few days I was up and well, much to the amazement of the health officials who came to check on my condition.

This healing brought my family into the study of Science. My mother went on to become a practitioner, and for over forty years she was in the public practice. I had the great privilege of growing up in a home where I witnessed the healing of many types of difficulties. My own healing was so complete that I later became a ballet dancer and teacher.
