One Source of Thought
When we are in a group of people with differing views on an important subject, it is not easy to believe that there is but one source of thought. But this is the truth. However convincing the evidence of many minds, there is but one infinite Mind, God, from whom comes all true thought.
Conflicting, selfish, unintelligent, uncomprehending, unloving thoughts have no source, although they seem to emanate from the material brain. Actually they are nonexistent. No matter how real a thought seems to be, it has origin, substance, reality, only if it can be traced to God as its source.
This truth was the basis of Christ Jesus' healing works, the truth he said we would know and be free. The actual knowledge of it came first through his life and works, especially his triumph over the hate that crucified him, his resurrection and ascension. It came again in the discovery of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy.
