Pray, Listen, and Obey
Ronnie was six years old. He didn't often have new clothes, and new shoes were something very special. It mattered a lot one day when he lost one of his new shoes. Here's how it all happened.
When he first went to Sunday School, Ronnie found it hard to sit and listen to the teacher. He didn't understand much about Christian Science. So Mrs. Brooks, the teacher, let him sit next to her, and she asked him questions he could answer. Soon he began to take part with the other children.
Ronnie liked what Mrs. Brooks said about praying to God. When she asked Ronnie how we turn to God, he would remember "We pray, listen, and obey!" He often thought about praying to God.
