A Home with a View

Some years ago when we consulted a realtor for the purpose of buying a house, she commented, "Of course, you will want a home with a view!" A view was not uppermost in our thought at the time, but when the house that met all our requirements was found, it was an added delight to find that there was also a magnificent view.

As I've daily enjoyed this beautiful view, I've become increasingly grateful for the spiritual view of my real and eternal home in consciousness, established through the years by study of the Bible in conjunction with Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. "Pilgrim on earth," she writes, "thy home is heaven."^{Science and Health, p. 254;}

There is no lovelier promise of home than that given by Christ Jesus to his disciples: "In my Father's house are many mansions: ... I go to prepare a place for you ... that where I am, there ye may be also."^{John 14:2, 3;}
