With great joy I want to express my gratitude for the help I received in Christian Science during the final state examinations in law. Fear seemed to paralyze my capacity, with the result that my oral performance and the results of the supervised written work for the junior barrister seminars were below average.

Just a year before the assistant barrister's examination, I asked a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful support, which was faithfully given me. The fear gradually yielded, and by the beginning of the examination it had completely disappeared. I recognized the fact that God was the source of all intelligence—the only real intelligence of both the examiner and the examined. Through the knowledge of His omnipotence, His omnipresence, and His omniscience—and through realizing that my only task was to reflect in this situation the intelligence He imparts to His children at all times —I passed the assistant barrister's examination as second highest out of seven candidates. Thanks to the application of the teachings of Christian Science, my five-month examination period in 1970 (which I had contemplated so anxiously) became a time that brightly shines in my memory as a most rewarding period of preparation for my career.

I am grateful for the understanding support of the practitioner. My gratitude goes out to the Father, especially for leading me to Christian Science. I give God alone the glory!
